The challenge was to modernise a landmark Birmingham property, 19 Cornwall, while preserving its character, creating a commercial space that could compete for top-tier tenants. The vision was to create a building that not only offered a prestigious address but also delivered a seamless, secure, and engaging workplace experience.
The challenge was to integrate advanced building technology that could serve multiple tenants, remain adaptable to future needs, and operate with uncompromising cybersecurity, all while being invisible to the architecture and effortless for people to use.
Vanti was engaged early, working in close partnership with Associated Architects and the client, Kier Property, to define the building experience through the lens of multiple user personas. By shaping the experience first, we were able to design the technology to support those journeys holistically, ensuring the systems, interfaces, and integrations all worked in harmony from day one.
Our role was to design and deliver the complete technology ecosystem, from the secure network infrastructure to the digital experience layer, ensuring every aspect of the building worked together to create a premium, intuitive, and future‑ready environment.
