We’re always looking for opportunities to talk to people about how intelligent integration of technology can have a huge impact on new and existing buildings, so when the Department for International Trade invited us to join the UK Government Pavilion at this year’s MIPIM, we were delighted to accept.
This week Cannes will play host to one of the largest real estate events in the world – a must-visit for all of the industry’s biggest players. The theme for this year’s event – in MIPIM’s 30th year – is ‘engaging the future’, with an emphasis on how technology and changing behaviours will shape our lives and cities over the next 30 years.
Since it’s hardly possible to talk about technical innovation in a property context without touching upon smart buildings, the Department for International Trade wish to demonstrate that the UK is home to a wide variety of companies capable of developing spaces that exceed expectations and represent a great investment.
With the support of the Government, we’ll be showcasing
Alongside this, we will also be introducing the MIPIM audience to Smart Core, the new open platform and framework developed by Vanti. Smart Core is set to change the way the property and construction industries think about deploying, maintaining and optimising technology in buildings, and we’re hoping to get some really valuable feedback through conversations with developers, investors, and potential partners.
Key to ensuring Smart Core benefits as many people as possible will be the work of Smart Core Foundation, an organisation that will oversee the development of the platform and framework. This will be dependent on investors, contributors, and moderators, and we’d love to hear from anyone interested in getting involved in such a capacity – just get in touch!
If you’re attending MIPIM and want to find out more about Smart Core, or you’d like to discuss how Vanti can help you build a portfolio with a stronger value proposition, come and see Mike and Ian at the UK Government Pavilion on stand C16E.
