From everyone at Vanti: well done Raj!
ORIGINAL POST: At Vanti, we’re always really proud of the work we do because we pour our heart and soul into each and every project we work on. However, it’s always nice when we get recognition in the form of award nominations, so we’re delighted to announce that our very own Raj Patel has made it to the shortlist for the Future Face of Innovation award.
Future Faces is the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce’s initiative to support young professionals, and this year’s awards will be the second to take place. The Future Face of Innovation award seeks to acknowledge individuals who have demonstrated exceptional aptitude in the fields of creative services, IT innovation, digital media, or application development and design.
Raj was shortlisted by the Future Faces Awards judging panel, which was chaired by Russell Jeans, Director of Business Serves at GBCC, and also featured with judges Alan Gilmour, acquisition and retention at Police Mutual; Justice Williams, MD of Women Who Ltd; Mark Gilman, Professor of SME Growth & Development at Birmingham City Business School and Nick Holzherr, CEO of whisk.com.
Whether he takes home the award or not, Team Vanti is incredibly proud of Raj for getting to this stage. Since founding Vanti over a decade ago, he has built up a brilliant team from nothing, and has a solid track record of devising ingenious and innovative ways of solving our clients’ problems. His hands-on approach and relentless commitment to creating the very highest quality user experiences, regardless of the technology used, is something we all admire. His focus and methodology ensure that clients continually have their expectations exceeded and achieve the very best return on their investment.
We’re biased, but we genuinely don’t think there’s anyone more deserving of an award that celebrates innovation in IT. In Raj’s own words…
“I understand how technology can enrich people’s lives or increase productivity, how to make it simple and effective to use, as well as how to make money out of it. I think the key is not being afraid to make mistakes, not being afraid to go against the grain when making key decisions and lots of hard work and determination.”
It is truly inspirational to see Raj at work, and he is constantly striving to help the rest of the team succeed.
The awards dinner will be taking place this Friday 16th September at Edgbaston Stadium, and we hope you’ll join us in wishing Raj the best of luck! Be sure to follow us on Twitter to find out how he fares on the big night.
